Áine Tyrell comes from a lineage of song and truth telling, daughter of revered Galway singer Seán Tyrrell, a man too traditional for some and not traditional enough for others. He never treated tradition as static, always discovering richer layers, interesting sounds, and rebel company. Áine not only inherited his songbook and his multi-instrumentalist hands. She also inherited his dreamer's vision, and permission to keep pushing past the boundaries.
